To celebrate hitting the 50 million images milestone we asked the team at 17�Թ����� to pick their favourite ever image – and when you’re picking from 50 million that can be a pretty hard task. We’ve included image selections from every team including Picture Research, Content, Customer Service, Sales, and even IT and Finance. But here are my top 5!

1. My top choice was picked by one of our UK Account Managers Niki. She said “This has been one of my favourite 17�Թ����� shots for years, I love the depth you can see in the water and the green hues against the reds of the hull. It’s unusual to see a shipwreck from this angle – we normally see shots that are taken on land or at ground level, whereas this shot is far more dynamic and almost makes you feel a sense of vertigo.”

2. My second choice comes from our New York based Picture Researcher Simon, here’s what he had to say about it: “I came across this image while searching for Cuban travel pictures and its impact stuck with me ever since. The strong, bright colors, along with the lady’s beautiful accessories, seem to capture the vibrant tradition of Cuban culture. The lady’s face has so much wisdom plus the unexpected cigar adds humor and a sense of history. I just love it!”

3. UK Account Manager Adele chose this beautiful image of New York, she said: “I’ve worked here too long to have a great favourite especially as we have more amazing photography now than ever before. But I really do love everything Stockimo. It really connects with the idea of captured, intimate moments, and a sense of the evocative. This one links me to a memory, a moment in time and I love that photography can do that.”

4. This one comes from US Account Manager Lisa, she said ” This image is strikingly well composed, the primary red colors typify the persona of a strong, happy and care-free woman, and i love that she could be any age 18 to 40.”

5. My final choice comes from Ainsley in the finance team he said “I picked this image for several reasons, it’s dramatic, it takes a while to realise its shot upside down, in very clear, cold water in Iceland  (where I went diving). I love the fact the diver seems to float above the surface of the water and the way the colours all blend into a watery icy cold blue. It appeals as well because so few people will ever have seen this place with their own eyes and the feel you get from looking at the wet, soft, cold water contrasting with the hard unforgiving rocks is great.”
