Another week has passed and we’ve had a load of wonderful images uploaded to 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß as always and we’ve highlighted 5 of our favourites as Pictures of the Week…

Why we think this is great: We need more authentic images of people and their pets just like this one and not just cats and dogs. If you’ve got smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc or even larger or more unusual pets, get snapping away and uploading. If you’re wanting to give it go, check out these pet photography tips to get the most out of your models.

Why we think this is great: This fantastic shot was taken over the weekend when over 150,000 people filled Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool for . When photographing sporting events it’s not only great to get shots of the event itself, but also images of people in the crowds. These are becoming increasingly popular with editorial customers and should be ‘of the moment’, capturing real time reactions.

Why we think this is great:Â Darker, low key images are one of our . Using darker shades can give images a luxury feel, especially when it comes to food and product photography although this pic need isn’t limited to those genres.

Why we think this is great: Spring officially sprung this weekend in the UK…finally! The weather is always in the news so whether the sun is shining or the raining is falling it’s worth grabbing your camera and heading out to get some shots for our Live News Feed. We love how the photographer composed this shot, cleverly using out of focus flowers in the foreground to frame their subject.

Why we think this is great:Â Real, honest, close to life imagery with a hint of 90’s nostalgia is currently trending within the stock photography world. The colour tones within the image give a filtered effect with a 90’s vibe.
