Why we think this is great: Studies have shown that people spend roughly 5 hours a day looking at our phones – that’s around one-third of their total waking hours. To counter this we’re seeing a rise in the desire for images that show real life sensations and connections. Why we think this is great: Last night  was held in the UK, an event where celebrities and professional footballers come together for a charity game to raise money for . We love this image showing the England team celebrating their win!

Why we think this is great: Similar to the trend for images showing sensory connections another response to our current dependency on technology are images harnessing quietness and contemplation. The need to be alone and to connect with the outside world instead of obsessing about who did or didn’t like your latest Instagram photo.
Why we think this is great: Who doesn’t love a photo of a super cute monkey? The composition of this photo is great and we really like the use of complimentary colour harmonies.
