This week’s been another big one, from a World Cup win to the President of the United States visiting the UK we’ve seen hundreds of thousands of images uploaded to 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß this week and as usual choosing just 5 to highlight as pictures of the week has been pretty tough…

Why we think this is great: This weekend France rose to victory and beat Croatia 4-2 in the 2018 World Cup Final. We love this shot of the team celebrating the win in the pouring rain!

Why we think this is great: Who doesn’t love cake? If you don’t, I’m not sure we can be friends. This image of some caramel cupcakes looks so delicious and good enough to eat which I think is a sign of great food photography.

Why we think this is great: We’re seeing a rise in the desire for images that show real life sensations, and make you feel connected to the environment and the people around you. This photograph fits in with this trend perfectly.

Why we think this is great: This week Donald Trump visited the UK and there were lots of photographs to document the trip, from official state visits with The Prime Minister and The Queen to multiple protests up and down the country. This image showing one of the protests caught our eye and stood out from all the other images uploaded documenting this event.

Why we think this is great: We love the soft colours and composition of this image, the out of focus foreground frames two little puffins perfectly and makes for a very aesthetically pleasing image.
These 5 images are just a small selection of the great content uploaded this week, you can view a larger selection of our favourites submitted in the last week here.
