Another week gone and we’re back with the next instalment of our pictures of the week blog. As always, featuring 5 of our favourite images that have been uploaded to 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß over the last week.
The Football is back in full swing now, not that it ever really left this year, so we thought this amazing celebratory shot of Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell should get a place in our top 5. Even more apt considering our very own Alan Capel is a massive Leicester City fan. Lets hope they do better than 12th this year… If you’re into sport photography, you might want to check out our blog for some tips.
Sadly this week Aretha Franklin passed away and we’ve had a lot of images uploaded in honour of the the Queen of Soul. We loved the natural intensity of this beautiful archival portrait from 1968 so just had to include it.
Travel images are always popular with customers and the point of view angle of this shot really makes it stand out from others. The matching colours of the bracelet and the ocean and the navy blue in the compass really cleverly tie the image together.
Good quality aerial images are in demand and the overhead angle completely transforms what could of been a fairly ordinary image into something much more extraordinary. The analogous colour harmony also makes for a very aesthetically pleasing image.
Images of real people are massively trending this year and this photo fits the bill. The image tells a story and not only fits the trend but also helps raise awareness of whats currently happening in other parts of the world.
If 5 images aren’t enough, check out more great images submitted in the last week. Motivated to get uploading this week? If you submit any images you think would be perfect candidates for our next ‘Pictures of the Week’ post, tweet the image refs to @17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßContent with the hashtag #17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßPOTW and we’ll consider them for the feature.
