Another week’s passed and we’ve been sifting through the hundreds of thousands of images that have passed through the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß gates this week in order to select our favourites to highlight. As always it’s been a tough choice but we’ve managed to whittle it down and are excited to present our top 5 pictures of the week…

Why we think this is great:Â Images with top view angles and flat lay compositions are continuing to gain popularity. We love the colours and composition of this shot and the tarts in the image look good enough to eat and are making us seriously peckish which is always a great sign of successful food photography.

Why we think this is great: This week many people have been talking about Crufts, one of the world’s biggest dog shows. Of all the shots submitted to our live news feed we fell in love with this cheeky Pomeranian being pruned to perfection ready to take center stage in the ring.

Why we think this is great: A powerful travel photograph tells it’s viewer a story. This shot does just that and through clever composition transports us to Myanmar making us feel as though we’re right there in the moment with the fisherman.

Why we think this is great:Â Â It’s no surprise that authentic lifestyle imagery is a continuing trend in stock photography and everyone is talking about it, including us. Candid images showing real people and real emotions are overtaking more classic ‘stocky’ shots in the popularity stakes and this image is a perfect example of a great image with an authentic feel.

Why we think this is great: Who doesn’t love a cute picture of a squirrel on a log? Apart from it’s obvious ‘awww’ appeal, we really like the lighting and warmth of this image.
