This year seems to be running away with us and not only are we now half way through March, we’re onto our 7th pictures of the week blog. As always, this past week we’ve had a huge number of images submitted and selecting just 5 to highlight has been tricky…

Why we think this is great: We love how the photographer has used a shallow depth of field for this shot. It draws attention straight to the two little frogs so carefully balanced on the branch and you can sense their cheeky character almost immediately.

Why we think this is great: Instructional and step by step images of arts and crafts are one of our current . This photographers series of Easter craft images are colourful, eye catching and on trend so we love them.

Why we think this is great: As we mention regularly, aerial imagery is a continuing trend in the stock photography world and we really like how this image shows the contrast between the two elements, earth and water through texture, colour and composition. If you’re wanting to take some aerial shots for your collection, get some inspiration here.

Why we think this is great: It seems the UK didn’t get the memo that it’s supposed to be Spring and we’ve been hit with another wave of minus temperatures and snow. It’s not all bad though because it means we can snuggle up and get our ‘Hygge’ on so when we saw this great shot we had to include it.

Why we think this is great: We love, love, love the composition of this shot. The sun sitting perfectly between the misshapen poles and rays of light beaming over the top of them creates such a beautiful photograph.
If you just can’t get enough, you can view more wonderful submissions from the past week here. Feeling motivated to get uploading? If you submit any images you think would be perfect candidates for our next ‘Pictures of the Week’ post, tweet the image refs to  with the hashtag #17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßPOTW and we’ll consider them for the feature.
