Since 2010 we’ve been working with students across Europe, USA and Australia through our 100% student project including, , , , , and a number of across the US. The project gives students the opportunity to sell their images, develop their portfolios and make some money.
The 100% project brings a new dimension to the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß collection with hundreds of new student images being added every month. Student images tend to have a contemporary style that works perfectly for commercial campaigns, as well as incredible photo-journalism, and more traditional wildlife and travel images. The collection is proving to be very popular with our clients, and they love that all of the money they spend goes back to the student. So far we have made sales to book publishers, magazines, advertising agencies, large corporations and even had a couple of front pages of national newspapers.
The project was launched for a couple of reasons –
- To add fresh and contemporary images to the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß collection
- To nurture new talent and give them the opportunity to earn money to help them fund their studies, equipment etc
- To introduce media and photography students to the idea of stock photography
