Share a lightbox
This option is perfect when you want to share a number of images at once. All you need to do is share the link with your colleagues and they can access all the images you’ve saved! Follow the 3 simple steps below:
Step 1: Register with 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß
Before you can create an 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß lightbox, you need to make sure you’re registered. This is quick and easy to do – just go to the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß home page, click the ‘Sign up’ button in the top right-hand corner, and then select ‘Buy images’. All you need to do is pop in your email address, create a password and you’re good to go!
Step 2: Create a lightbox
Once you’re registered, it’s really easy to set up a lightbox and get started with adding images. We’ve created a handy blog to guide you through the steps nice and easily:
You can add images to your lightbox straight from the image page by hovering the mouse over the image and clicking the icon with 3 squares and an arrow. This will add the image to the latest lightbox you had open without leaving the search results page, so you can carry on looking for more great content. Here’s an example of the lightbox button:
Step 3: Share it!
Once you’ve added all the images you need into your lightbox, it’s time to share it with your team.
It’s really easy to share, just follow these steps:
Make sure you’re signed into 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß, and go to the ‘My 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß’ drop-down list in the top right-hand corner of the page, or click on the lightbox icon in the header
1. Select ‘Lightbox’ from the drop-down list and open the lightbox you want to share
2. Click the ‘share’ button in the white panel on the right-hand side of the page
Note: the tool will automatically select the lightbox you’re in, but if you have more than one lightbox you want to share you can choose to add more by selecting them from the list.
3. You have 2 choices on who you send the lightbox to – you can either:
– send the lightbox directly to a colleague or team member by adding their email address to the ‘To’ box or;
– send the lightbox to your own email address, and then copy and paste the link you receive to share it with all your contacts
Top tip: if your colleagues also have an 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß log-in, they can save the lightbox to their own account. This means they can make the lightbox their own using all the great content you’ve found and add even more of their own!
Share images straight from the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß site
There are 2 ways you can share images from 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß, both of which are really easy to do. They’re both really good options when you want to share single images:
Option 1: Share the image reference or URL
This might seem like an obvious option, but giving your teammates the 6 digit image ID will mean they can pop it into the search bar on the 17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏß homepage and be taken straight to the image.
Likewise, sharing the URL of the image page means they can just click on the link and land straight on the image page.
These are both great options when you’re browsing and want to quickly run an image past your teammate.
Option 2: Share the image on social media
When you find an image you love and click through to the image page, you’ll see there’s a blue ‘share’ button on the right-hand side. Clicking this will give you a list of options that make it super easy to share the image on a range of social media sites:
When you click on a social site, you’ll see we’ve pre-populated the share with a link so you just need to type your message, tag your colleagues and post!
