The Naked Planet collection

Explore the Naked Planet collection

Is the way we’re evolving sustainable? It’s no secret that the population continues to grow at a rapid rate. More trees are being cut down, more houses built, and more land developed on. We’ve changed the world so much that it鈥檚 difficult to find anywhere that鈥檚 still completely untouched.

We’re seeing more protests against new developments in an aim to protect natural habitats because the ecosystem and the animal population are paying the price.

Every 10 years an area the size of Britain disappears under a jungle of concrete

David Attenborough

There are still some locations we’ve yet to build on, and it’s important we protect these areas. In 2018, a map of the Earth鈥檚 intact ecosystems showed just for most of the untouched land. This collection showcases the land left on Earth which remains undeveloped – and hopefully with global action, will remain so for some time.
