What is National Selfie Day?
On Wednesday 21st June it’s National Selfie Day – a day declared by the BBC in 2014 after a surge in the number of people taking selfies! According to  there were 93milliion selfies taken PER DAY in 2014!! The selfie stick, which was apparently  worked wonders for the popularity of the selfie and social media sites like Instagram and Facebook mean it’s so easy to upload and share your mobile photos as soon as you take them, so it’s no surprise that in today’s digital-focused world we now have a national day dedicated to the simple selfie.
How to get involved
It’s simple, send us your best selfies, for your chance to win a £25 / $25 Amazon voucher. You’ve got until midnight on Wednesday 21st June (GMT) to send them over.
All you need to do is post your image on , tag us on Twitter or share your image with us on Instagram . Whichever social site you use, make sure you use the hashtag #17³Ô¹ÏÔÚÏßSelfie so we can easily find all our competition entries 🙂
The winner will be announced on Thursday 22nd June – we’ll post the winning picture on our social channels and contact the winner directly!
