PRICK ADDICTION Wei Shengchu got hooked on needles after undergoing acupuncture. After the needles were removed and his condition cured - Wei couldn't get enough of the prickly feeling and found himself voluntarily spiking himself with needle after needle - until he struck upon the idea of setting a world record. The Chinese 53-year-old invited Guinness World of Records staff to witness him sticking 1, 790 needles in his head. Wei also claims the acupuncture helps preserve his youth.
