The price is the prime international award that could be given to reward good industrial design. Braun transistor is designed by the designer Dieter Rams at Max Braun Frankfurt / Main, instead of radio tube, the apparatus has seven transistors in each battery (which cost 6 SEK) and handed for 800-1000 listening hours. Come on the Swedish market in May 1957 or 1958.
